The Fall Bucket List

Fall is almost here! The best season ever in my opinion and the one that goes by the quickest. I recently read Joanna Gaines blog about fall where she says that her the new year starts in the fall, everything feels fresh. I definitely feel like that is true for me also and that's why it's my favorite, among other reasons. For example, sweatshirts, leaves, layers, pumpkins. I often go through the same thing every year in the winter where I realize how many fun, fall things I kept putting off until it was too late! To prevent that from happening I (with some help) have made a fall bucket list so we can get every ounce of goodness out of this short, wonderful and fresh season.

1. Go for a bike ride through the colorful trees

2. Halloween movie marathon ALL DAY!

3. Make Pillsbury pumpkin cookies

4. Host a bonfire

5. Go golfing - its more fun when the leaves are falling

6. Go kayaking down a river and look at the trees

7. Outdoor movie wrapped in blankets

8. Pumpkin carving - of course

9. Drive up M22

10. Make a fall playlist

11. Wear an outfit with a cute hat - I have so many hats and never wear them and I think hats are very fall

12. Fall photo shoot

13. Drink hot chocolate - a lot

14. Get a pumpkin spice latte

15. Go to a football game

16. Read a book... or many - reading is good all year but being curled up with a good one in the fall is extra special :)

17. Make an apple pie from apples you picked, and then maybe some juice

18. Have donuts at Schwallier's Country Basket or a place like that

19. Buy lots of sweaters from a thrift store - Salvation Army is my go-to

20. Corn maze it man

22. Burn a fall scented candle in your room - Ex: pumpkin cinnamon

23. Have the best fall EVER!!!
