Spa Day

A great way to unwind, relax, and regenerate.


With school back in the schedule and the change of seasons we, sometimes get tired, stressed, and tense all at the same time. What's a better way to relive all of that by having a fun spa day with a few of your close friends. This can be a time to relax and unwind and to catch up on what's happening in everyone else's lives since we can become so distant in the mix of school and work. My mom has a friend who is a masseuse and is AMAZING. Having a massage at the start of spa day gets you relaxed and ready to unwind for the rest of the day.​​Face masks are a must have at spa day. Buying masks can get kind of pricey so finding a recipe can be the way to go. The one that we made had yogurt, turmeric, honey, lemon, and cinnamon. The ingredients make your skin brighter and help with acne. ​A lot of over 21 spa days will include wine but for me and my friends, it's sparkling grape juice since we're not 21 yet, but we can pretend. Drinking it in wine glasses has basically the same effect, right?​​Food is a main part of spa day. You can find tiny appetizer recipes on pinterest or just come up with your own! Having light little snacks is fun especially when you make them together.

Ingredients: Naan Bread

Ricotta Cheese

Small blueberries

Honey

Basil

Instructions:

Put as much of each thing on as you want, drizzle the honey on top. Put in the oven at 350 until it looks done. You really can't go wrong with this one.
